What It Means To Volunteer
Without volunteers Special Olympics Indiana – Huntington County would not exist today. Over 75 volunteers commit their time, energy and enthusiasm to offer athletes quality sports training and competition. Our volunteers include civic and fraternal groups, high school and college students, business executives, Special Olympics athlete's family members, sports officials, coaches, teachers, retirees and corporate groups.
Volunteers can get involved at the local, area or state level. Some volunteers are involved a few hours a year, while others work several hours a week.
As a volunteer with Special Olympics Indiana – Huntington County, you can help provide Special Olympics athletes an opportunity to experience the excitement, joy and personal fulfillment associated with sports training and competition.
